Sauvignon Blanc Pear Spritzer

Embrace Fall with Our Signature Spritzer

Here at Sterling Vineyards, we have beautiful, warm weather through October, so enjoying a delicious bubbly spritzer outdoors is not unusual. Our Sauvignon Blanc Pear Spritzer is the perfect wine cocktail for the fall season. While our Sauvignon Blanc is fantastic on its own, you can add a few ingredients to give it an autumn twist; it’s simple to make and even easier to sip.

Ingredients

• 1 750 ml bottle of Sterling Sauvignon Blanc (3 oz needed)
• 1 cup pear juice
• 1 cup sparkling water
• 2 rosemary sprigs for garnish
• 1 pear, sliced
• Cinnamon and sugar
• Ice 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)

Directions

1. On a plate, mix the cinnamon and sugar. Coat the rim of your glass by dipping the rim in water or pear juice and dipping immediately in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
2. Place ice in two cups.
3. Combine 3 oz of Sterling Sauvignon Blanc, pear juice, and sparkling water. Distribute evenly between cups.
4. Add the sliced pear to the cups or the rim. Add a sprig of rosemary and cinnamon stick for garnish.

2020 Sterling Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Our Sterling Sauvignon Blanc has inviting aromas of jasmine, ripe stone fruit, and fresh tropical fruit. It is medium-bodied but still crisp and bright. It has a touch of hazelnut on the palate, which pairs lovely with pear.
