The only one of its kind in Napa, the Sterling's aerial tram offers stunning views as visitors ride up to the winery. Like the winery itself, Sterling’s aerial tram was conceived with both functionality and aesthetics in mind.

Meet the Winemaker

Harry Hansen

Harry joined Sterling Vineyards in 2011, just before harvest. “It’s a great privilege to make wine here,” he says. “At Sterling we enjoy unsurpassed vineyard resources, from Diamond Mountain to Rutherford, and our recently renovated, state-of-the-art cellar is the perfect place to blend grapes from these stellar terroirs into wines of intense varietal expression.”

As director of winemaking at Sterling Vineyards, Harry Hansen guides the production of the flagship Sterling Vineyards Iridium wine. The first vintage 2014 Iridium Cabernet Sauvignon release proudly won 96 points by Lisa Perotti-Brown at Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.
