2016 Sterling Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

91 Points - JamesSuckling.com
“Cassis, redcurrants, fresh herbs, raspberries and red licorice. Medium-bodied with good savoriness to bolster the red berries and acidity crunch.” - James Suckling, May 2019

The power of Napa shows in the rich, deeply red garnet color with aromas and flavors of dark red and black fruits, including black cherry, raspberry, blackberry and ripe plum. Notes of mocha, oak spice and cassis are accented with sea salt caramel and vanilla bean. Intense and full-bodied, the wine is balanced and well-structured with seamless acidity and evident but pleasing tannins. Approachable and welcoming now, the wine will continue to evolve and reveal more of its personality over the next decade.

2017 Sterling Vineyards Chardonnay Napa Valley

The Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Chardonnay is a luminous, light gold color in the glass with fragrant aromas of fresh lemon crème, citrus, crisp apple and toasted hazelnut. The inviting nose leads to a richly textured palate with flavors of citrus, stone fruit and a honey almond character. The wine is well-balanced between an elegant, creamy roundness and a line of bright acidity. The pleasing finish is persistent and flavorful.

Sterling Vineyards Sparkling Blanc de Blanc

The Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine is a glistening pale straw color in the glass with ribbons of fine bubbles. The aromas of green apple, lemon citrus, pear and lemon cream are distinct. The palate is fresh with fruit-forward flavors, floral notes and a soft, creamy texture. This a sophisticated and elegant wine with balanced fruit, structure and acidity.
